PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high quality formed product having little defect at a low cost, of which the raw material is easily treated. SOLUTION: A raw material supplying device is provided with a cylindrical body 5 which feeds the raw material ingot 3 formed in a cylinder shape and is communicated with a cylinder 4 in a semi-melting metal forming machine 1, a sealing member 6 which is arranged on the inner wall surface 5a of the cylindrical body 5 and shuts off the inner part of the cylindrical body 5 from the outer air by abutting on the outer peripheral part of the raw material ingot 3, and an induction heating means 7 which is arranged on the outer peripheral part of the cylindrical body 5 and partially melts only to the tip end part 3a of the raw material ingot 3. Molten metal 8 melted in the cylindrical body 5, is supplied into the cylinder 4 in the semi-melting metal forming machine 1.
