PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the working surroundings, to reduce a melting and holding energy, to achieve the miniaturization of the whole device, to reduce the equip ment cost and the running cost, to facilitate the restraint of oxidation of a metallic material to obtain a cast product having high quality. SOLUTION: Chip-state metallic materials 33 in a hopper 35 are changed to melting/semi-melting state metallic material 5 by heating with heaters 45, 47 and rotating a screw 31, and fed into a metallic material holding chamber 51 at the front of a screw 23. A switch valve 13 shuts off a barrel 3 and a horizontal injection sleeve 1, and after changing into a communicating state, the molten material 5 in the metallic material holding chamber 51 is transported into the horizontal injection sleeve 1 communicated with a cavity in a metallic mold by advancedly shifting the screw 31. Inert gas in a pressure vessel 27 is poured into the switch valve 13.
