PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a coating width without cleaning the inside of a slit and to practically uniformalize a coating thickness in the width direction at the time of applying a coating material on a prescribed base material. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a nozzle 1 having a manifold, to which the coating material is supplied, the slit 101 for passing the coating material and discharging it to the outside and a coating width adjusting zig fixing hole 91, a closing part 122 of a coating width adjusting zig 12 having a coating width adjusting zig fixing hole 123 and for controlling the width of the slit 101 and fixing screws. The closing part 122 is inserted to the slit 101 from a notched part 11 to communicate a coating width adjusting zig fixing hole 91 and the coating width adjusting zig fixing hole 123 with each other and the closing part 122 is fixed to the slit 101 by inserting the fixing screws to the coating width adjusting zig fixing hole 91 and the coating width adjusting zig fixing hole 123.
