PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laundry tag which does not flaw wash during laundering or handling of the wash. SOLUTION: Recesses 2a and 2b are respectively formed on both sides in nearly the central part of the laundry tag 1. A retaining part 3 of a convergent peak shape is formed at one end of the laundry tag 1. Notches 5a and 5b are formed between this detaining part 3 and a tag sheet body 4 and a slit 6 allowing the insertion of the detaining part 3 is formed near the other end of the laundry tag 1 in the transverse direction of the laundry tag 1. The spacing between the notches 5a and 5b is specified to a size nearly the same as the length of the slit 6. The spacing between the recesses 2a and 2b is specified to nearly the same size as the length of a button hole of a white shirt.
