<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dioxins emission inhibitor that does not give an adverse effect on a heavy metal fixing treatment that does not require use of a special reaction vessel, can be used for performing treatment at a relatively low temperature with a high decomposition efficiency and has an excellent handling property without forming a complex ion together with a heavy metal. SOLUTION: The dioxins emission inhibitor comprising an oxygen containing compound selected from the group consisting of a phenol compound, aldehyde, aliphatic carboxylic acid, aliphatic carboxylate is disclosed. This dioxins emission inhibitor is brought into contact with a substance containing dioxins at a temperature of 100-400 deg.C.</p> |
