REACTION APPARATUS AND STIRRING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction apparatus capable of stirring a liquid to be treated without suppressing the reducing action such as denitrification reaction and good in the consumption efficiency of energy in stirring, and a stirring method thereof. SOLUTION: In the reaction apparatus, a separation part 2 is provided in a reaction tank 1a and the upper part 2b thereof can be hermetically sealed and an open part 2a is formed at the lower part of the separation part 2. The gas such as air in the separation part 2 is discharged to draw the liquid to be treated in the reaction tank 1a in the separation part 2 and the gas is introduced into the separation part 2 to send out the liquid to be treated in the separation part 2 to the reaction tank 1a. This operation is alternately performed to move the gas-liquid interface level in the separation part 2 up and down to stirr the liquid to be treated in the reaction tank 1a.
