PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently and cost effectively produce absorptive articles disposed with prescribed patterns in prescribed positions. SOLUTION: This process for production consists in producing the absorptive articles by continuously delivering and transporting a long-sized continuous member 5 having stretchability from a prescribed position, cutting the continuous member 5 to a length P1 corresponding to one sheet of the absorptive article in the prescribed position in a transporting route and disposing and fixing the cut continuous members to the prescribed positions of the absorptive articles. In such a case, the continuous member 5 is previously printed with the prescribed patterns at a pitch shorter than the cutting length of the continuous member 5 and the delivering speed thereof is so controlled that the prescribed patterns exist in the prescribed portions of the cut continuous members, by which the prescribed patterns are disposed in the prescribed positions. |
