PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in storage stability and capable of exhibiting excellent internal (deep) curability regardless of a low moisture permeability of a contained main polymer by including a saturated hydrocarbon-based polymer, a curing catalyst, a dehydrating agent and a water absorbing resin. SOLUTION: This composition comprises at least (A) a saturated hydrocarbon- based polymer having at least one functional group capable of curing a compound by reaction with water (preferably an isobutylene-based polymer or a hydrogenated polybutadiene-based polymer), (B) a curing catalyst (preferably a carboxylic acid metal salt, etc., such as tin octylate), (C) a dehydrating agent (e.g. an inorganic dehydrating agent such as silica gel or an organic dehydrating agent such as vinylsilane) and (D) a water absorbing resin (preferably a resin having hydrophilicity). The contents of the respective components in the composition based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A are preferably 0.1-10 pts.wt. of the component B, 0.1-10 pts.wt. of the component C and 1-10 pts.wt. of the component D.
