PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a skew of a sheet material, and to surely carry the sheet material by providing a pressing member for pressing the sheet material in the thickness direction in a regulating means being movable in the carrying width direction of the sheet material and regulating both end parts of the sheet material, and carrying the sheet material with the carrying width directional center as a reference. SOLUTION: A paper feeding tray 2 capable of being housed in a printer body at unused time is provided with round long holes 2a, 2b, and a pin 2c is projected toward the paper face reverse side. In such a paper feeding tray 2, the side regulating left 17 is slidingly supported in a hole 2a by fitting pins 17a, 17b projected toward the paper face reverse side of the side regulating left 17 as a regulating means in the hole 2a. Similarly, the side regulating right 18 is slidingly supported by fitting pins 18a, 18b in a hole 2b. A pressing-down member 24 as a pressing member is rotatably installed in roof parts 17d, 18d for preventing excessive loading of paper sheets of the side regulators 17, 18 with springiness with the bending part as the center.
