PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stopper fitted to a floor face or a wall surface to positively lock an open door and to easily release the lock without a user touching it. SOLUTION: A locking member 1 is pivotally supported at one end onto a frame body 9 across both side parts of the frame 9 and fitted with a support member 2 hinged to the other end. A vertically erected member 4 is vertically erected with a spring 8 provided at the back part, and movable along the side parts of the frame body 9. A link is pivotally connected to the support member 2, releasably attached to the vertically erected member 4 and provided movably along the side parts of the frame body 9. When a user presses a door to the vertically erected member 4, the vertically erected member 4 moves backward, and the locking member 1 falls forward together with the support member 2 and is attached to the link. When the vertically erected member 4 moves forward, the locking member 1 is vertically erected in such a manner as to be pushed up by the support member 2 from the front side to lock the door.
