PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric door closing lock capable of being mainly counted on to an entrance door or a sliding door, omitting the use of a lock and a keyhole, locking and unlocking the lock by wireless remote control, preventing an illegal mischief to the lock in the case of locking and, at the same time, greatly increasing the number of orders for the lock to promote reliability on the lock, driving a locking piece by a motor using a battery as a power source, and using a battery alarm information section and an emergency unlocking rod to temporarily restore unlocking operation in preparation for battery consumption. SOLUTION: A latch or a crescent as a locking piece provided to a lock main body can make locking and unlocking operation by remote control by using a transmitter 12 and a receiver 25 provided with batteries 11 and 22 equipped with battery alarm information sections 23 and 31 respectively. The battery alarm information sections 23 and 31 inform a user of the fall of a residual capacity of the batteries and, at the same time, an emergency unlocking rod 24 provided to the transmitter 12 is used to temporarily make operation control of the locking piece.
