PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a living space by permitting the number of corridors as passages up to the half number of a total stair number, and to form windows having possible wide areas on both side faces of a building. SOLUTION: The lowermost floor layer of the apartment house building 1 and a floor layer just above the lowermost floor layer, the third floor layer and the fourth floor layer, and two floor layers as the upper layers of these floor layers are used as one unit successively, corridors 2 along the longitudinal direction of the building are formed to the intermediate sections of the floor layers near to a ground surface in each unit and partition walls 3 along the longitudinal direction of the building to intermediate sections in the floor layers far from the ground surface in each unit, stairs are installed in the upper-lower oblique directions in upper-lower left-right living spaces 4, 4', 5, 5' partitioned by the corridors 2 and the partition walls 3 in each unit, and two dwelling units 7, 7' communicated in the upper-lower oblique directions in each unit are manufactured.
