PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an energy ray-curing type coating composition which can form strong coating films having excellent adhesivity to substrates and whose use field can be spread, by compounding a specific amino resin with a radically polymerizable group-containing compound. SOLUTION: This active energy ray-curing type coating composition comprises (A) one or more kinds of amino resins having radically polymerizable double bonds in the molecule and (B) at least one radically polymerizable group- containing compound selected from (meth)acrylate compounds, (meth)acrylamide compounds, vinyl compounds, vinyl ether compounds and propenyl ether compounds. The component A preferably contains a 1,3,5-triazine skeleton in the main skeleton, and is preferably a compound of the formula (R1 is phenyl or the like; R2 is H, a 1 to 18C alkyl or the like). Thereby, the active energy ray-curing type coating composition is useful as an ink or coating composition, and its cured coating film can be expected to have excellent adhesivity to non-absorbing substrates such as metals, plastic-coated steel plates or synthetic paper.
