PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately register a platen to a home position. SOLUTION: A left side motor and a right side motor are driven until a left heightwise position detecting sensor and a right heightwise position detecting sensor are both inverted to an off state, thereby lowering a platen 2 with holding a left end part and a right end part in parallel to each other. After the left end part and right end part of the plate are further lowered by 10 steps, the left side motor and right side motor are driven until the left heightwise position detecting sensor and right heightwise position detecting sensor are both inverted to an on state. The left end part and right end part of the plate 2 are raised while being kept in the parallel state. Thereafter, the left and part and right end part of the plate are raised by a preliminarily set correction amount.
