PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required to finely regulate a block position by using a key way, grooves and a positioning jig as a positioning mechanism in the case of assembling a block build type mold constituted of an upper mold, an intermediate mold and a lower mold. SOLUTION: An upper mold 1, an intermediate mold 2 and a lower mold 3 for constituting the block build type mold is movable along posts 4. In this case, a key way 5 and grooves 6 are formed at central portions of the molds 2 and 3, the molds 2 and 3 are aligned by using the ways 5 and the grooves 6, and functional components are assembled. That is, the posts 4 are press injected in the mold 1, and knock pins are respectively inserted into knock holes 1 of the mold 1. The pins are further inserted into the molds 2 in this state, and the molds 1 and 2 are positioned. After bushes 8 are adhered to the post holes of the mold 2 in this state, the pins are removed. Further, positioning jigs 9 and 10 are respectively inserted into the ways 5 and the grooves 6 of the mold 3. Thereafter, the jigs 9 and 10 of the mold 3 are respectively inserted into the ways 5 and the grooves 6 of the mold 2, and the bushes 11 of the lower mold are adhered.
