PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering gear which is simple in structure of a displacement sensor and easy in fitting to a body. SOLUTION: In the vehicular steering gear in which a hydraulic cylinder 30 to constitute a power steering device is provided movable in the axial direction with respect to a gear box 41, a displacement sensor 46 to detect the movement of the hydraulic cylinder 30 is mounted on the gear box 41, and a displacement lever 47 of this displacement sensor 46 is abutted on an end face of a port 61 of the hydraulic cylinder. The movement of the hydraulic cylinder 30 can be immediately detected by the displacement sensor 46, and a displacement sensor for general use can be used without any modification.
