PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent readily peelable manicure capable of sufficiently satisfying coating properties, drying rate and gloss and having adhesion and coating film strength capable of withstanding daily friction by formulating a specific compound in a water-based manicure containing a film-forming agent. SOLUTION: This water-based manicure is obtained by formulating (B) a triglyceride represented by the formula (R1 to R3 are each a 2-18C hydrocarbon group) (tricaproin, or the like, is preferred as simple glycerides and 1- caproyl-2,3-caprylin, or the like, is preferred as mixed glycerides) in the water- based manicure comprising (A) a water-soluble polymer (e.g. polyvinyl alcohol) or a polymer emulsion (e.g. the one such as an acrylic resin-based emulsion produced by emulsion polymerization) is a film-forming agent. The respective amounts of the formulated ingredients A and B based on the total amount of the composition are preferably 2-60 wt.%, more preferably 5-40 wt.% of the ingredient A and preferably 0.01-20 wt.%, more preferably 0.5-10 wt.% of the ingredient B.
