PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book jacket type package wherewith a booklet housed in a booklet housing space can be discerned from the outside and taken out easily by a method wherein a die-cut sheet of paper is folded up and a recording disk housing part and the housing space for housing the booklet regarding the recording disk are provided. SOLUTION: A package comprises a backbone paper board 1 forming a thickness for a book jacket, a surface board 2 and a backside board 3 provided at both sides of the backbone paper board 1 and a disk holding board 5 which is connected to one end of the backside board 3 and folded down on the backside board 3 to form a disk housing part 4, and a pair of booklet housing part flaps 9a and 9b respectively having a top board 8a and a bottom board 8b for forming a booklet housing space 10 are provided respectively at the upper and lower ends of the surface board 2 while an insert flap 15 to be inserted into the inside of the booklet housing part flaps 9a and 9b is connected to the side of the backside board 3 through a lateral board 14 in a width corresponding to the thickness of a lateral of the disk housing part 4.
