Two-stage fluid ring machine

The machine includes devices (4, 7) which allow an adjustment of an optimal intermediate pressure at different input pressures and/or compression ratios. A targeted injection of gas is preferably provided in the first or second stage of the fluid ring machine, especially in the area of a rise in pressure of the first stage, and especially through a drill hole or slot in a control disk (4). The injection results preferably through a microprocessor-controlled valve arrangement, and sensors (6) which record current values and forward them to the valve arrangement.
