PURPOSE: An apparatus for informing of the braking distance of a vehicle in a night travel is provided to realize a safe travel at night by making a driver confirm the braking distance of a vehicle with eyes. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for informing of the braking distance of a vehicle in a night travel comprises a drive unit for generating a driving force by controlling the air in an air tank(10), a rotating unit driven by the driving unit depending on the braking distance calculated by a control unit, and a laser generator(30) for informing a driver of the braking distance by irradiating a laser beam forward. The drive unit consists of the air tank and a solenoid valve(11). The solenoid valve operates an actuator(12). A rod(13) of the actuator is connected with a drive rack gear body(20) via a connecting rod(15). The linear movement of the drive rack gear body is guided by a guide rail(26). A driven gear body(25) engaged with the drive rack gear body is prepared. The laser generator is installed rotatable. A view sensor is installed in a front end portion of the vehicle to output an alarm when the distance from a preceding vehicle is short.
