A car antenna capable of being installed even by one worker, wherein the side plates of a substrate bracket (9) with a fixed plate are inserted into a square hole formed in a base part (3) so that they are positioned on both side surfaces of a rectangular projecting part projecting from the lower surface of the base part (3), spring pieces (4a) are formed on the side plates, the spring pieces (4a) formed on the side plates are passed through installation holes and engaged with these holes on their rear sides when a cylindrical projecting part (13) extending from the rectangular projecting part is inserted into the installation hole formed in a roof panel, whereby an antenna main body is fixed temporarily to the roof panel and the worker can take his hand off the antenna main body, and the worker can move to the inside of a car body and install the car antenna to the roof panel by screwing a mounting nut (2) onto the cylindrical projected part (13).
