The extension to an existing hot-water generating system is placed at the last consumer point , and has a water discharge valve which can be controlled in relation to the variables of not reaching a set water temperature, time of day, or water-tap operation. By means of the water discharge valve, a connection with a receptacle possessing lower temperature is achieved. When a pre-set water temperature is exceeded, the valve automatically closes, whereby the contents of the receptacle is prepared for consumption by means of a connecting pipe with a cold water pipe possessing lower pressure.
