A method of processing sea shell, comprising the steps of injecting liquid t o the inside of a shell of a sea shell to separate the shell from meat so as t o open the shell, suckingly removing individual, or two or more types of, or a ll of the associated parts of the sea shell after opening one piece of the shel l of the sea shell, forming an opening part in a part of the shell of the sea shell and suckingly removing individual, or two or more types of, or all of the associated parts of the sea shell through the opening part, separating t he other piece of the shell from the meat by injecting liquid to the sea shell after suckingly removing the associated parts, giving a damage to a part of the shell by cutting it with a cutter, drilling a hole, or pressing it so as to form the opening in a part of the shell, and removing by suckingly or washing-out, with liquid, fragments and powder of the shell produced by forming the opening part in the shell, forming the opening part in either or both of two pieces of shell; a shell processing device, comprising an associated part removing mechanism, a transporting body, an opening mechanis m, a first separating mechanism, and a second separating mechanism so as to achieve the processing method.
