The invention relates to a toothbrush with a brush head (1) that is supporte d by a brush body (10) and that is provided with a bristle support (20) that receives the bristles (22). Said bristle support is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation on a housing section (30) of a housing and is reversibly driven by an eccentric drive (50, 52). The brush body (10) is additionally mounted on the housing section (30) in such a manner that it can be pivoted within said section.
