PACKAGE FOR EDIBLE ELEMENTS AND METHOD FOR FILLING THE PACKAGE

A package (1) for a portion of edible elements (7) is designed as a container (2) of foil. At a first end the container has an opening (3) which is sufficiently large to allow passage of at least one edible element (7). The package (1) furthermore comprises a cap (4) for being screwed onto the container and close the opening (3). The container (2) is preliminarily constructed with an open second end (6) for filling the container with the desired portion of edible elements (7). The foil is then squeezed together at the open end in two opposite sides (8) which are heat sealed and/or folded together. The package has an interesting and attractive design and can be opened and closed repeatedly without being spoiled. The package constitutes a suitable advertising article.
