PURPOSE: A built-in switch for a door open warning lamp in door latch of a vehicle is provided to simplify installing, improve appearance, and to improve sound insulation. CONSTITUTION: A switch exposure hole(33a) is formed in the middle of a striker admission passage(33) installed in a latch housing(32). A switch case(41) having an opening(41a) is installed to the inner wall of the latch housing by a fixing unit(50). A switch member(43) installed to assemble to the switch case by a pivot and to be exposed into the exposure hole by a switch close spring(44) having repulsion to both sides of the switch case and a switch member(43). A movable contact(46) and a fixed contact(47) connected to a door open alarm lamp(45) are installed each to the switch member and switch case. The door open alarm lamp is lit out while the movable contact and fixed contact are being off by movement of the switch member pushed by the door striker.
