<p>A center core for a magnetic disk, comprising a collar (9) located at the outer periphery and having a disk-like magnetic recording medium fixed thereto, and a reference surface unit (5) in contact with the tip end of a spindle, for determining a reference position, the collar (9) being inclined at an upward angle e with respect to a plane (A) in parallel with the reference surface (5a). Accordingly, a favorable head-touch area can be expanded with a spinning shape of a magnetic recording medium at high spinning speeds controlled, distortion occurring when the fixed magnetic recording medium is relieved, and excellent recording/reproducing characteristics at a mass storage capacity are ensured.</p> |
