The sunroof panel (3) has a cover plate (5) provided with a reinforcing frame (6) and a peripheral plastics frame (4). The edge (9) of the latter projecting beyond the cover plate and the reinforcing frame has a hollow space (8), receiving an elastic plastics core (11), attached to the outer edge (7) of the reinforcing frame.
