<p>In each of four storages, 128 clusters are distributed from one segment including 512 clusters. A logical-to-physical address translation table is generated for each segment. Therefore as long as the segment is not modified, the logical-to-physical address translation table referred to or updated is not changed, and it is possible to prevent degradation of the read performance due to an access to the table and to an update of the table. Further it is possible to write data simultaneously at continuous logical cluster address, e.g., 0x0004 to 0x0007, achieving high-rate write.</p> |
