The clamp comprises a ring-shaped body and one or more radial clamping elements. The ring body (2) is a deep-drawn component (31). It has a pocket (8), which is formed during drawing, to accommodate the radial clamping element (9). The flange of the deep-drawn component forms a stiffener edge. This has a thickness, which is the same as or smaller than, the thickness of the blank. The pocket also holds an insert (10) with inner thread, e.g. a nut, associated with the clamping element. The pocket has two legs (6) and a bridge (5) with a passage bore. A threaded tension screw (12) passes through the bore into the nut. |
