A core center for a magnetic disk; which increases a machining precision of a stepped molded element between a reference surface for determining positioning by being contacted with a spindle and an attraction surface to be attracted by being moved close to a magnet, to thereby ensure a parallelism and a dimensional precision between the reference surface and a flange and provide a stabilized, high-speed revolution of a recording medium; and which comprises the reference surface (5) for determining the reference positioning of a center portion, the attraction surface (7) continuing from the reference surface (5) at a different level via a stepped portion (6) and facing a magnet (13), and a flange (9) fixed to a magnetic recording medium (2) at the outer periphery, the stepped portion (6) between the reference surface (5) and the attraction surface (7) having a multistage-drawn shape. |
