A cellular phone comprises a voice data storage section for storing voice data for recognition; a dialing-related information storage section for storing dial information for call connections; a voice input section; a speech recognition section for recognizing the voice input to the voice input section based on the voice data stored in the voice data storage section and for extracting the dial information corresponding to the recognition result from the dialing-related information storage section; a position detector section for detecting the position of the cellular phone with respect to the user; and a control section that performs a call connection based on the detected location information and the extracted dial information.
