The tyre is formed by a rubber structure with harmonic steel wire frame, which do not allow lateral deformation, forcing the tyre to get flabby on the vertical standing in case of puncture. Furthermore the above mentioned structure is divided into separate inner tubes, connected by "non-return" air in-flowing valves, which limit tyre puncture only to small sectors and maintain lift avoiding explosion. The inside structure, supporting statically the tyre, let it keep shape rigidity, which allows to work at lower air pressures with bigger sections, so recovering partially tyre cushion function. This system gives to the tyre an optimum rigidity level, in non-lowered tyres and with traditional rims too. |
