PURPOSE:To prevent the flexure of a developer regulating body by magnetic force and to eliminate uneven toner coating by exerting force acting in a reverse direction to magnetic force received by the developer regulating body from a magnetic pole in a developer carrier on the developer regulating body. CONSTITUTION:In order to prevent the flexure of the developer regulating body 6 by the magnetic force from a permanent magnet 1b, the magnetic pole S7 of a permanent magnet 7 is disposed at a position opposed to the magnetic pole N61 of a permanent magnet 6b in the developer regulating body 6a. By applying the magnetic force by the magnetic pole S7 in an opposite direction to the magnetic force from the permanent magnet 1b to the regulating body 6a, the regulating body 6a is prevented from being fixed. Thus, by exerting the force acting in the reverse direction to the magnetic force received by the regulating body 6 from the magnetic pole 1b in the developer carrier 1a on the regulating body 6, the flexure of the regulating body 6 by the magnetic force is prevented and uneven toner coating is eliminated. Therefore, excellent image is obtained. |
