PURPOSE:To paint out a figure at a high speed with simple constitution by inverting dot information in a pattern memory in order according to contour line information which constitute the closed figure. CONSTITUTION:When respective pieces of vector information corresponding to contour lines constituting the closed figure are read out of a vector information memory 2, an inversion painting-out means 3 inverts and write dots in a pattern memory 4 facing one contour line prescribed with vector information in order in an expansion direction to develop black dots in the closed figure in the pattern memory, thus performing painting-out processing. Consequently, a closed geometric figure or vector font prescribed with plural contour line is painted out by the simple circuit at a very fast speed. |
