摘要 PURPOSE:To enable automation of adjustment of the pressure of muddy water at a working face. CONSTITUTION:A supply quantity and a discharge quantity of muddy water are detected by a mud supply flow sensor 33 and a mud discharge flow sensor 35, the drilling speed of a shield machine 1 is detected by a speed sensor 41, the detected results of the mud supply flow sensor 33, the mud discharge flow sensor 35, and the speed sensor 41 are input to a deviation flow detecting part 49 of a control computer 47 at every decided time, and a deviation flow indicating the surplus or shortage of the discharge quantity of drilled soil against the supply quantity and the discharge quantity of muddy water is detected at every decided time. A fuzzy inference part 55 applies a fuzzy control rule R held by a fuzzy control rule holding part 57 to them so as to perform fuzzy inference, and based on the inferred result, a control part 61 controls drive of a mud supply pump 19, while monitoring the working face water pressure detected by a working face water pressure sensor 39 and the supply pressure of muddy water to a cutter chamber 13 detected by a mud supply pressure sensor 37.
