PURPOSE: To facilitate joining to improve the assembling property by joining a cylindrical barrel part and a bottom lid, to form a cartridge for housing sodium, by pressing one of them into the others. CONSTITUTION: A part of a cylindrical barrel part 12 of a cartridge 6 for housing sodium is pressed into a bottom lid 13, or a part of the bottom lid 13 can be pressed into the barrel 12. In this case, a part of the barrel part 12 is pressed into the bottom lid 13, and the end of a joining part is desirably provided close to the bottom of the cartridge 6. With this structure, even in the case where the pressurized gas dut to the sodium flow through a small hole 7 is leaked from the joining part, quantity of the inert sodium left in the cartridge 6 is reduced. One of the barrel part 12 and the bottom lid 13, arranged inside the joining part is desirably made of the material having a coefficient of thermal expansion larger than that of the other, arranged outside. An engagement part 16 is desirably formed in the joining part by bulging so as to improve the drawing strength of the joining part. |
