The invention relates to a monocular night sight device. Said night sight device is provided with a lens (11) that is mounted along an optical axis (1) and that focuses the residual light that is emitted by an object to be watched on a residual light intensifier (33). An optical component throws the image of the object that is available at the outlet window (34) of the residual light intensifier (33) and that is represented in a defined wavelength range onto at least one receiver (99) such as the human eye. The beam path between the outlet window (34) of the residual light intensifier (33) and the receiver (99) is determined by reflecting optical elements. One first reflective element (91, 92, 93, 94, 97) of these elements is located along an axis (9) that leads to the receiver (99) and is substantially parallel to the axis (1) of the lens (11). Said reflecting element is substantially reflective with respect to the defined wave length range of the residual light intensifier (33) and is optionally substantially translucent for other wavelength ranges. |
