The desk has a desk frame with at least 2 vertical columns provided by hollow profiles, provided on opposing vertical profile sides with 2 series of hanging slits for attachment of horizontal support arms (30), supporting a relatively pivoted desk surface (10), via cooperating pairs of hooks (41). Each support arm (30) has a rear section (31) which projects inwards from the shorter edge of the desk surface (10) and a front section (32) provided with a fixing at its free end for a pivot mounting (20) on the underside of the desk surface.
