The invention relates to cyclohexenone derivatives of bicyclic benzoic acids of the general formula (I), wherein X, R<2> and R<3> are defined as indicated in claim 1. The invention also relates to herbicidal agents that contain the cyclohexenone derivatives of formula (I), to a method of producing said agents and to a method of combating undesired plant growth using the cyclohexenone derivatives of formula (I).
