This invention is directed to improvements in and relating to connecting apparatus. It is envisaged this invention will be used to interconnect, in series, conduits such as hoses used for conducting fluids and flowable substances, in such a manner as to obviate kinking which would otherwise impede flow through the conduits. The connecting apparatus includes a body (2) having at least an external portion (3) and at lest one internal portion (4). Both the external and the internal portions (3, 4) are adapted to engage with a distal end of the respective conduits being connected. Kinking of the conduits is prevented by 360 DEG rotation of the internal portion relative to the external portion in a fluid tight manner, without impeding the flow of fluid through the connecting apparatus or the conduits, even when high pressure fluids are being conducted. |
