The invention relates to a cooling device comprising the following: a first pulse tube cooler comprising a first pulse tube (20) having a warm head and a cold head (24) and a first regenerator (40) having a warm end section (44) and a cold end section (46) that is connected to the cold head (24) of the first pulse tube; an object (82) to be cooled that is thermally coupled to the cold head (24) and a connecting device (62) for mechanically or electrically connecting the object (82) to be cooled to a joining device (60). The connecting device (62) extends along the first pulse tube (20) from the warm head to the cold head (24) at least in partial thermal contact with the tube and/or along the first regenerator (48) from the warm end section to the cold end section at least in partial thermal contact with the regenerator. The connecting device is thus pre-cooled even before it contacts the object to be cooled or the cold head of the first pulse tube (20) thereby reducing the heat load on the cold head (24). |
