STOP CONTROLLER FOR VEHICULAR POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power consumption efficiency by cutting off an unnecessary control current when stopping an engine. SOLUTION: A vehicular power transmission device is structured so as to change the speed of driving power from an engine E by a continuously variable transmission CVT and transmit to a counter shaft 2, and to control transmitting of the driving power from the counter shaft 2 to wheels by a driving-off clutch. A control valve CV controls hydraulic pressure in the continuously variable transmission CVT on the basis of a control signal sent from an electric controlling unit ECU through a line 35. After a vehicle is slowed down to stop the engine E by idling stop control, the power transmission device controls to make a control current of the control valve CV become nearly zero.
