PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a member for a display in high yield, which is free from defects, by using the dielectric paste curable by heat. SOLUTION: A thermal polymerization initiator having half life of 10 h at 40 to 130 deg.C and being an initiator for radical polymerization, selected from organic peroxides (diisopropylperoxydicarbonate or the like), azo compounds [2,2-azobis(2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile) or the like] and an organic component having unsaturated groups comprising acrylic resin(methyl methacrylate or the like) are tncorporated in the dielectric paste. Then, the resulting dielectric paste is coated on a substrate of a display member and the coated film is cured by heating. Thereafter, a partition pattern is formed on the cured film, and the coated dielectric paste film and the partition pattern are simultaneously fired. Thereby, the dielectric layer protects electrodes formed on the substrate by covering them and improves the formability of the partition pattern formed on the dielectric layer. |
