PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the collision of a recording sheet and a partition sheet at a joint part of conveying routes of the first and second conveying means, by conveying the partitioning sheet by an approximately linear second conveying means, and determining an interval between the partitioning sheet and the recording sheet in front thereof, longer in comparison with a case when the partitioning sheet is not inserted. SOLUTION: This image formation device is executed onto four sheets of recording sheets S supplied from a paper supply cassette 5 at an image recording station A, and two partitioning sheets P are properly fed from a manual paper supply tray 10A, and fed out onto an elevation-type paper feeding-out tray of an after-processing device FS. On this occasion, a first recording sheet S1 supplied from the paper supply cassette 5 is reversed at a reversing part 11b after an image is formed on one surface thereof, and fed out onto the elevation-type paper feeding-out tray 82 from the image forming station A, on this occasion, a time slightly longer than a time necessary for the recording sheet S1 to be reserved and conveyed, is determined as the delay D1. By delaying the start of the conveying of the partitioning sheet P by the delay D1, the partitioning paper P1 can be prevented from being collided with the recording sheet S1 in front thereof. |
