PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system and an endoscope system control method wherein the operability can be improved by holding set values satisfied by all the users when a plurality of devices are intensively operated and controlled. SOLUTION: The control screen of a control panel displays a main control screen as a most generally used control screen when this system is controlled. By pressing an operator setting screen switching switch on the main control screen, the screen is switched to an operator setting screen 90 in which an operator name selecting switch section 91 is provided. By selecting an operator name by the operator name selecting switch section 91, a set value stored in a set value memory means is fetched by a host controller for each operator, and the host controller re-sets respective peripheral devices. Further, the operator name corresponding with a selected set value is displayed on an operator name display section, and a set state display in the control screen is changed as well. |
