PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor capable of eliminating out-of-step. SOLUTION: This motor apparatus is provided with a stepping motor having a driving winding of a plurality of phases, energizing devices 2a, 2b supplying electric power for energizing the winding, position detectors 3a, 3b detecting the position of a rotor of the motor 1 and outputting a position detection signal, and energizing timing controllers 4a, 4b outputting an energizing signal to the energizing device in response to either input timing of a driving command signal or the position detection signal. The energizing timing controllers 4a, 4b output an energizing signal in response to the input timing of the driving command signal when the energizing switching of the winding by the driving command signal generates torque in such a direction effective for driving the motor 1 in a desired direction, and output an energizing signal in response to the input timing of the position detection signal when the energizing switching of the winding by the driving command signal directs torque in such a direction unfavorable for driving the motor 1 in a desired direction. |
