CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR TOP COATING AND COATED PRODUCT COATED WITH THE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curable resin composition having excellent weather resistance, adhesivity and recoating performance and emitting low odor by including a specific vinyl copolymer and a weak solvent. SOLUTION: The objective resin composition is produced by adding (B) a weak solvent (e.g. a terpene or mineral spirit) as a solvent to (A) a vinyl copolymer having an alkoxysilyl group and a branched and/or cyclic structure. The component A is produced preferably by copolymerizing (a) a vinyl monomer having a silyl group of formula (R1 is H or a 1-10C alkyl; R2 is H, a 1-10C alkyl, a 6-10C aryl or the like; and (a) is 0-2), (b) a vinyl monomer having branched structure and/or cyclic structure [e.g. isobutyl (meth)acrylate] and (c) other copolymerizable vinyl monomer [e.g. methyl (meth)acrylate].
