PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more comfortable seat with improved back holding performance ensuring a wide seat back area even in reclining. SOLUTION: A seat back of a reclining rear seat consists of three separate units in the cross direction, a first seat back 1, a second seat back 2 and a third seat back 3 arranged between the first and second seat backs 1, 2. The first and second seat backs 1, 2 each have a reclining mechanism for independent rocking operation in the longitudinal direction of a body. The third seat back 3 is reclined together with the first and/or second seat back 1, 2 by using a connection mechanism for connection to one or both of the first and second seat back 1, 2.
