PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modify a mechanical drive system transfer feeder to a servo drive system transfer feeder. SOLUTION: A mechanical drive system transfer feeder in a press main body 1 is removed, and the clamp, lift drive mechanism 10 of a transfer bar 11 by a clamp motor consisting of a servomotor and a lift motor, is installed between front and rear uprights 1b. Among a center upright 1b and the front and the rear uprights 1b, a temporary placing means for a transfer bar is provided, which places a transfer bar 11b split at the time of the change of dies and to be left in a press main body, and a feed drive mechanism 9 is provided, which drives the transfer bar in the feeding direction by a feed motor consisting of the servomotor. Thereby, a three-pillar system transfer press is modified to the one on which a servo drive system transfer feeder 8 is provided.
